'i see the light... then i was fuming!'
today is a really unlucky day for me...
morning was fine, woke up, ate something light then watched tv... then after that i did some simple sketching...
thought i shouldn't go out since my dad will be home after paying respect to his ancestors with his brothers and sisters and their family... thought that i should keep him company at home 'cause my sister and mum are working, only my brother and i was at home.
then at 12+pm, he came home... the first thing he said after he step in offended me... i was pissed... so i decided, i am so going out.
left home at 3pm... felt sorry for my brother but i can't bring him out otherwise my dad will be totally alone... i wondered aimless to tampines mall first, then to east point... wanted to get a pair of shorts at east point since i saw some nice ones there the last time i went... unfortunately, this time there were so little designs, and none appealed to me... so i shop around for a little bit and left for tampines...
went to my marketplace to get my hair cut 'cause i am really having trouble seeing with the fringe covering my eyes... entered the one i went several times before. this time an auntie in her 40s offered to cut for me... she didn't look professional, but thought i shouldn't judge a book by it's cover. so i told her i wanted to cut my hair shorter by an inch...
before she cut, she used her fingers to show me how long is an inch. for goodness sake, why on earth would i tell someone i want to cut my hair by an inch if i don't know how long it is?! then she started cutting... and as u guys know, the hairstyle i had before this haircut was that my hair is shorter at the back, and the hair is longer at the front... like a concave shape... this 'brillant' woman snipped off the longer 'tail' i had at the front and went "oh! the long tail is gone. is it ok?" *faint* what if i were to say NO, what can she do? so i just nodded my head...
after cutting the back and the front, she was about to start cutting the fringe... she asked "what type of fringe would u like?" so i told her to follow the shape i had and just cut it shorter... she couldn't understand, so i have to show her with my fingers what i meant... then she cut it to a length that was still half blocking my view and ask it the length was ok, and i told her i want it shorter... and she went "huh, still shorter?"
then she cut it a little shorter and asked "u want layer or straight?" this time i didn't understand... first time in my life someone asked me if i wanted layer for fringe... so i said i don't want layer but i don't want those totally straight ones... then she started a series of weird cutting styles on my fringe...
in the end, she got my hair all out of shape... she didn't follow the original shape i had. now my hair is all straight at the back and front and the fringe didn't look curve or straight... it's WEIRD! my mum could have cut better than her... damn bitch!
she totally know nothing about hair cutting. first time when i told a hairdresser i want a hair cut, he/she ask so many questions, like that shape, what length etc... a hairdresser should be able to know that just by looking at the person's face shape, length, texture etc...
i cried when i went home and was losing my temper to whoever who tell me it looks ok when obviously it's NOT!
i tried to calm myself down later and had my dinner...
now i am stuck with this awful hairstyle for months before my hair grow longer...
i am NEVER going to that stupid hair salon again...
