26 April
boring day... worked in the afternoon, as usual... backache makes working all the more tiring...
and guys, please stop visiting me at work from 1 May 2008 onwards, 'cause from then, everyone coming into the store, we have to say 'Welcome to Mango!'... which makes me sound like an idiot and totally annoys me...
and guess who thought of such an amazing idea? it's a dumb Chinese Singaporean who was just promoted to take charge of Singapore Isetan operations... he should just die please...
and new system! managers will pop by to check on u and if u fail their check, congrats! free coffee for u in the managers' office! -.- damn it. i should just get myself a new job soon...
25 April
off- day!
SO
today's programme: touring Singapore on the MRT...
took the train from Tampines to City Hall, boarded train on the red line. made a full circle to Jurong East, changed to train on the green line (again!) to Queenstown...
Interesting programme, isn't it? AS IF!
chu and i wanted to go to Queenstown shopping centre. but before that, she has to go to Sembawang to meet someone whom she bought things from through an online spree... so that explains the train-hopping... and the person (female), though quite friendly, is truly good with her jokes... only when we met did she tell chu that she could send a registered post to her since chu bought so many things from her... how NICE of her, don't u think?
went to Queenstown station and chu was going 'this place is so old.'
then we saw some residents playing chess, with the chess board on some plastic chairs, and chu said "i thought such things only exist in drama" and i agreed.LOL
we saw many people there who are already in their golden years... chu suggested this area to be called 'Old folks town' instead of Queenstown...
after saying that, chu tripped and almost fall several times... wonder why... HAHA
ok, ate at Alexandra village hawker center and went to Queenstown shopping centre... walked a while and went home...
24 April
only 2 hours of lecture today! love it!
this semester timetable just sucks... everyday is block teaching, like 4-5 hours lessons consecutively... apparently my attention span is super hyper short, so i was getting restless just after 1 hour of lecture...
went ingredients shopping then to dawn's house for steamboat...
mean dad is just reluctant to let me stay over at other people's house... hmph!
anyway, we watched tv and played table cum floor tennis before steamboat...
before the dinner commence, dawn and others gave me belated birthday present and sang birthday song for me! was an awesome surprise! thanks! loves u!!!
come to think of it, everything makes sense now, all the talking in school... dawn they were asking if anyone brought candle and i was wondering what it was for... then dawn answered that it was to light the steamboat. though i thought it was a little weird, i didn't really suspected much 'cause in my impression, steamboat=hot=needs fire... totally forgot there is such thing as electrical steamboat... oh man, i'm dumb...
presents.
(the cow thing is the gift bag)

steamboat with friends was suppose to be a happy thing, but without boyfriend there, it's still a little sad...
heartbreaking picture, isn't it?
yiru don't be sad ok... hush hush...
after dinner was dressing time! everyone tried on the different accessories dawn has... man, she has a real lot of collection... there is one person who is so hyper and self-entertaining...
here she is:
then nat, jasmine, alison and meiyi went home...
after that dawn curled yiru's hair and after it's done... more pictures taken, for darren to appreciate :x
i went home after that... hmph! i wanted to stay, all thanks to my dad... this was a really rare chance i could stay 'cause after this week, i will be working on thursday instead of tuesday. so i can't go to dawn's house if all decides for party on thursday unless they tell me 1.5 week beforehand so i can apply for unpaid leave...
heard they did mask after i left, and the self-entertain one looks just like a real burglar... but yiru is the funniest looking one... a tiger... HAHA...
lazy to post the same photos as dawn, huijun and yiru, so for the photos, visit either of their blogs...
22-23 April
nothing much... everyday is just lessons... boring... sleepy...
yes, and i completed shakugan no shana II... forgot to mention that i am watching another new 2008 spring anime--Neo Angelique...
