went eating and drinking with mango colleagues at Bedok 85... it was to celebrate pei chin birthday... wonder how old is she... 26? hmm, don't think i ever asked her that before...

met some other ex-staff who i've never met before...
chatted... learnt more about some staffs... found some amusing but some stupid... shan't elaborate further 'cause there is a stalker from mango who frequently stalk on my blog...

jia bi randomly suggested to get durians (when we were drinking beer and wine)... immediately there are people who strongly objected, saying that mixture of durians and alcohol can caused death...

and so the main topic of this entry: durian+alcohol=fatal?!

did some research online for the answers...
knew that someone died after talking durian and wine...
someone experimented by throwing durian flesh into alcohol, only to see gas produced vigorously...
some suggested that since both durian and beer are heaty food, the 'heat' produced by these 2 food is too much for the body to cope, as such result in death...
others claimed that large amount of gas is produced from the chemical reaction of durian and alcohol, causing the stomach to 'explode' upon reaching its expansion limit...
medical still doesn't have evident if durian and alcohol really cause death...

read someone's blog...
he and some other friends had a durian party. they took durian, together with wine and/or beer, but none of them died after that... nor did they have white foam coming out of their mouth...

conclusion of my research: durian+alcohol is not fatal, i guess...
but many warn to take both in moderation...
