went shopping for ingredients for steamboat with jelly, zhi and chu. sorry for being so late! T_T
then preparing the food at zhi's house. WAHAHAHAHAHAHA!! we are a group with no cooking knowledge!!! so funny wor! --must we wash tofu? if we have to, how? --how do we cut the fish bone out? --should we boil water in kettle and then pour the boiling water into the steamboat pot? or just boil the water in the steamboat pot? etc etc...
then steamboat time~~~! first time eating steamboat with them. i just love the feeling! XD
ATTEMPTED to give xiao a birthday surprise, but obviously, we failed. be suprised-not, we succeeded in the 'surprise' only at the 3rd attempt. let's see... ...

ok, then was watching tv, cake appreciation and photo taking! julius is so vain. whenever we are taking photos, he would just barge in and occupy the space which was meant for the photographer to join in the photo when the camera timer was set.
love julius though, he is so cute :DD chu is so lousy, she is always screaming 'ZHILIN!!!' when julius approach her. however, he seems to like her alot, more than he likes me... *heartbreak*

watched the last episode of Darker Than Black: Ryuusei no Gemini. but seriously, I COULDN'T UNDERSTAND A THING?! it even caught me by surprise that this was the last episode. i didn't catch any hints from the previous few episodes that the series was heading towards the end.
until the end, i didn't get to see my favourite character in action, as in using his powers. i wouldn'y say i like the ending. somehow i just felt that it was a sad ending. like people who have met were separated, people died, memories lost, and my favourite character MIA-ed, dead or alive also unknown! WHAT IS THIS?!

I AM NOW TYPING THIS ENTRY WITH MY BELOVED LAPTOP! WELCOME HOME BABY! went to collect it from the service centre today. how i miss it. it still has the best specs among my house desktop and my sister's laptop. LOVE YOU! please try to keep yourself together and try not make me worry and work for u again ok:)

25 DECEMBER
LAST DAY OF WORK! AND I WAS LATE! bad luck from the moment i stepped out of my house. missed a bus, the next was full, so i couldn't board. board the next one but small traffic jam nearby 'cause there is a mosque and the muslims parked their vehicles all along the roadside?!
forgot to bring my locker key, thought i could get the spare one from the HR, to my dismay, HR is closed today?! called my supervisor for help but she didn't pick up. ran down to the sales floor to look for another supervisor and she was so happily telling me that cashiering balancing last night has an excess of $12. LOLL! anyway, she told me i could approach the manager for help. so i ran up to the staff office again. and finally i got my key. was late by 15 mins by the time i punched in for work.
was really happy 'cause it's the last day of work, no more counting money, no more unreasonale customers, no more leg pain. but sad because i have to start doing my school assignment the next day.sadsadSAD!
took a liking to the people there again. the supervisors are so fun! now when we have became such friends i am leaving...
24 DECEMBER
busy day at work! some staff told me that there won't be as many customers on christmas eve as the previous few days, but apparantly THAT WAS NOT TRUE?! the queue at the cashiers were in fact much longer!
the head manager of this tampines branch came to the sales floor to help O.O she stood beside me and help pack stuff for the customers while i just handle the cash or whatever payments?! u know how shocked i was!!! and a little pressurised, but after a while it was fine:) reminded me of Service Quality module--Management perception and communication, and airport systems or administration--quality customer service vs. speed of clearance :p
23 DECEMBER
my supervisor asked me if i can work full day tomorrow. she was asking so politely but i still rejected. i have a dinner date with my family as christmas celebration. i feel so bad, but i can't do her that favour.
then she asked if i can help her out on weekends, which i also rejected. school work's been rather busy for the previous term, i can't commit to working part-time at a time like this.
despite only helping out for 6 days this holiday and declining to help her further, i still received a christmas present from her. i am always in her care when i am working with her. aix, guilty me~~~ *was thinking even if i were to go back as permanent part-time at isetan, i still want to go back to mango department. i still like the staff there better :x and seriously, i don't really fancy cashiering job, it's boring...
21 DECEMBER
got a sort of good news today, lifted a little load off my mind.
played pens at kinokuniya for more than an hour! call me crazy or whatever, I DON'T CARE! but the pens are so amusing! it's been years since i last spent so much time trying and playing pens at a bookstore. i used to be a pen expert! which is good for what, which has smooth tip, which leaks, which spoils easily, i know :p now i'm outdated. u know u know, now u can customise your pens?! and there is another one that uses air pressure to push the tip out?! OMG! i love them!
anyway, my manga crave and craze is super serious today. to be exact, it's naked ape craze XD i'm feeling so sad and depressed about not being able to get the manga Dolls and [switch] volume 9 and 11. I AM IN LOVE WITH NAKED APE'S WORKS!!! got pretty boys and good plot and full of action!
was reading a little on naked ape. got the impression that the author and writor are rather young. wondering exactly how old they are. really envious of their talents :) am also reading about people's comments on their works. the good comments just make me so happy:)

woke up at 8.30am because my dad said we're going to eat raw fish! i am a pig! OMG! tell me there's food and i can wake up at anytime!
went to grandma's house for A WHILE, like really a while, 30 mins? my uncle was mopping the floor, and my mum didn't want to bother him, so we left.
then went to Queensway Shopping Centre. bought a pair of shoes, like FINALLY?! how happy am i to find a pair of shoes that i fancy and there's my size:)
then went to Alexander hawker centre for late lunch... ate satay, chicken rice and avocado milkshake~~~ LOVE THE GOOD FOOD~~~!!!
19 DECEMBER
worked from 10am to 10.30pm!!! OMG! I AM PRO?! and no mistake, my job requires me to STAND. there are lunch break, tea break and dinner break though, totaling up to 1.5 hours. but i only sat down for 15 mins in the 12.5 hours of work 'cause the pantry was crowded -.-
was feeling ok until after i got home. i felt all the effects then~~~ anyway, work was crazy. was unhappy when i was first told to work at a different counter from wednesday. this counter is so messy! and they don't have many things. don't know how the staff work here daily...
