EXCUSE ME! if u haven't noticed, i am the one to always compromise, OF COURSE U CAN! i try not to work late into the night or wake up at midnight for u! on the other hand, she just comes back from lessons and go 'can u plug in your earpiece?' AND FUCKING WEBCAM HER BF AND SPEAKS AT A VOLUME LIKE THE GODDAMN ROOM IS HERS!
her mum came into the room on Monday morning and said 'wah, so cold! why turn on the air-con and the fan, waste electricity.' HELLO, I AM NOT YOUR DAUGHTER?! i switch off the air-con and use the fan when the room is cool enough!

was reading birthday messages from chu, zhi, jelly and lion... HAHAHA!!! ALL SO FUNNY! and hey, i may behave and look man, but i am a woman. please pamper and praise me a little, i love it :D
it is broad daylight, but i have to say, i have trouble reading the message from zhi :x the pen colour... too similar to paper... i wonder if i will be able to see the message years later. or will squeezing lime juice and heating it up enable the message to show better? XD
seriously, we have an item to represent each of us, all except chu. we need to work on that...

met out with chu, zhi, jelly, and lion... went to orchard central spag-something for dinner... HAHA!!! it was fun... they tried to surprise me with a cake, but i knew it... they were signaling each other with their eyes :D but thanks guys! it was beautiful!!! XD and i love how we love to camwhore! and chu attempted to kill me with the cake knife...
and talk about writing a card.. they all wrote messages for me on the train on the way back to tampines... cool huh...

omg, it's my birthday!!! :D and i went to bed at 7am and woke up at 8.30am! what a way to start the day... then after preparing all night for the article facilitation, i stood in front of the class, and talk nonsense -.-" i have stage fright, so PLEASE CAN THERE NOT BE SOMETHING LIKE THAT?! I DON'T INTEND TO BE A TEACHER ANYWAY! FML
then i had lessons all the way to 4.30pm and ran back home :D dinner with family~~~ then is cutting cake and went out with nat and yiru... an 'uninvited' guest came along... didn't like it, but since we are using his car, i can't really chase him away...
anyway, we went to pub and drank, then ate a bit and we went home... i was too tired to stay out all night, but both of them had their own stuff to do too...
omg, did i mention i almost died on my birthday? nat's driving skills is awesome! she changed lanes when driving like suddenly?! just zoom and cut across 2 lanes?! and when parking, she nearly hit the pillar... how many times did my heart miss a beat... LOLLL!
gave 16hours to school, 2 hours to travel home, 1 hour dinner... how sad...

it's Saturday!!! back to civilisation! haha! told dad that i want food from Amoy Street food centre or Maxwell Food Centre. since my dad needs to take my brother to the osteopath at Ann Siang Hill, we could have breakfast there! so i woke up at 8am and tagged along :D
ate at Amoy Street Food Centre, had porridge and raw fish :)))
then to the surprise party jojo planned for daryl! daryl was blindfolded and brought to his condominium common area by jia-hao. then the party started with covering him in 'snow'.
food time! it was also catching up with life among the people. yiru, dawn, huijun, lek ning, darren, leonard, jiamin, joanna, wei zhi, adha were all there. daryl's other friends were present too.
after that was games time. all of us were put into groups and we were to answer questions regarding daryl. HAHA! i'm quite surprised i knew that much about daryl that the others didn't... anyway, the prize of the game was the winning group gets to throw daryl into the swimming pool. for each question, should every group's answer differ from each other and from daryl's, there would be whipped cream treatment for him!
so the birthday boy got a wash in the pool, and when he was away to dry himself, I WAS THROWN INTO THE POOL! tricked, dragged and pushed into the pool... haha, it was fun so i wouldn't mind :p then i had my revenge by hugging the accomplices.
after that, i took jojo's hp from her and get the people to do what they do best :D daryl came and we both attempted to help jojo out of the pool. another conspiracy, into the pool i went again.
ok, then was cutting the cake and opening the present...
what is 'mostly used by men', 'good for use at night', and 'it vibrates'? it was a non-cam blackberry mobile phone for this NS boy. nice description guys!
then was packing up and leaving. went to Nex with dawn, huijun, yiru and darren for yogurt.

'i am very particular about cleanliness.' says grace (my roomie) eh, look at the dust in my room. the last time i swept the floor was 1 week ago...
she spends more time in the room than i do, i wonder how she lives with all that!
the following week is recess week, my dear girl is going out of town... church mission to cambodia... and she didn't empty her bin. i can expect some uninvited guests if i don't empty it for her? good lord, teach her some hygiene practices! the previous week i wanted to empty her bin for her too, 'cause she went home for the weekends without doing so. BUT i saw used panty-liner in her bin and i dropped the idea. so disgusting!
grace told me that her mum came into the room last week and said i have no shame, hanging my washed panties so openly in the room. ermmm, what do u suppose i do? wash my panties and then keep the wet stuff in my bag? -.- dear madam, i am not like your daughter who brings her week worth of lingerie back and get u to wash them...

today is shopping for mp3 with him...
went to chuhui's birthday party at coasta sands today. yes, zhi, jelly, xiao and i went there as coolie because we are her best friends!
so there was ordering food, shopping for supplies, preparing, decorating, and tidying the chalet... the best part came--eating! we got to eat first XD

i suddenly feel so sad... during the weekdays, i hardly stay in the room because i know grace will be there, and she will always be asking 'what are u doing? are u studying? watching anime?' i don't like that someone is always watching me, i like my privacy. but now that she has gone home for the weekends already, the room feels so empty, i feel lonely :(
anyway, let's talk about my part-time admin job. i work on tuesday afternoon and thursday morning, 5.5 hours per week. it's into the 2nd week, and it seems that thursday mornings will be quite relaxed if i work faster on tuesday. all i've been doing is photocopying. and of course, work smart and save time, so while i'm photocopying, i also play with the functions of the machine to see how i can do more in shorter time. i've never tried admin job before, so using the photocopier is something i am not familiar with. so far i've been getting operating tips from another admin from the Chinese Division. she's really nice, each time we meet in the photocopying room, she will teach me something new :D
tell me how did i even get involved in the corpus project again? our group is working with some doctorate guy from engineering course. he is working on a software, which he hopes would become the Singapore Language Dictionary, like u insert speech data and it will analysis it and determine the language, tone, pronunciation, etc. so he wants linguistics input. while on our part, we are doing corpus study, so we hope the software can help us analysis large amount of data. crap, this seems like hard work. this apart, i have another 4 tests and 13 assignments due in the following 6 weeks. FML.
thursday was supposed to be quite a relaxed day for me, since i only have 3 hours of lessons. but look what it has become today:
8.30am to 9.00am--project discussion
9.00am to 11.30am--working
11.30am to 12.30pm--project meeting with professor
12.30pm to 3.30pm--lessons
3.30pm to 4.00pm--project consultation with professor

i seriously hate it how people crap during lessons just to earn participation points and get attention. if u have nothing construction, just shut the fuck up, damn it!
yes, as u guys have already noticed, i am feeling pretty cranky recently. u got it, i have been studying DAILY for the past 2 weeks! and i'm seriously suffocating. it's so not fun. i feel that i am becoming what i am not, and i'm not comfortable with that... LIFE IS SO BORING! and i've been missing my de-stress sessions. this is not good...
was supposed to be revising, but i ended up with mass sms-ing nat... we were updating each other with our lives as always, and tonight with the discussing a plan on my birthday... i refuse to give my 21st birthday to NTU. i'm sorry, but i guess u can never be my love...
i am hoping nat could get a car on my birthday night and we can go out driving all night! :D

don't ask me to return a NATIONAL LIBRARY BOARD BOOK to NTU's library!!! it's totally different catalogue, different data base, and most importantly, DIFFERENT ORGANISATION?! omg this is basic common sense?! i have been working as an admin for my course division. the conversation with another admin went something like this:
admin: bee said to return this book to the library
me (looking at the book): huh, u mean go to the library at Jurong or Tampines kind of public library to return it???
admin: no, just the school library
me: but this is NLB's book?
admin: eh, u mean there is a difference? can't return it to school's library?
me: eh, this is NATIONAL LIBRARY BOARD'S BOOK? (pointing to the 'nlb' letters on the label) and they uses different sorting and label?
admin: oh u mean it's different? school uses a different label?
me: (thinking) is she an idiot or what -.-"
admin: oh, then i guess return to the public library then
told chu about this, and she is just as pissed. seriously, that admin has no common sense?! i can't say i am smart 'cause i am not, i am not academically inclined, but i'm glad i have common sense and flexibility... i thought common sense being COMMON should apply to all people. but why so many people nowadays say and do senseless stuff?!
then i was told to make a photocopy and a scan of a book. i was like 'huh, means i have to do it twice???' and she told me 'yes'. i started with scanning the first chapter first. then someone else came to use the machine to do some scanning. then i saw that i could use the photocopy version and feed it to the feeder to scan the pages. so means i only need to do it photocopy once! omg, the admin is not 1 bit helpful -.- people say work smart, don't work hard. this is the last thing to work hard for!
